It's so hard to believe Shirley is gone. She was an icon at St. Mary. Every year the students would hope they would get her as their homeroom teacher. She was my teacher, my co-teacher, my children's teacher... my friend. Forever in my heart.

Miss Ricker was one of my favorite teachers at St. Mary's. She always had a kind word and her love for her students and parents was truly inspiring. May she rest in peace. Prayers for peace and comfort.
