Thomas A. Mercier, age 53, of Kenosha, passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2017.

Tom was born in Kenosha to Vernon and Edith “Toots” Mercier on September 30, 1963.

He was a 1981 graduate of St. Joseph’s High School and had been employed at AT&T for over 16 years in installation and repair.

On June 15, 1985, he was united in marriage to Linda Rannick. Together they had a daughter, Courtney and a son, Jacob. On August 23, 2001, he was united in marriage to Larinda Smith and they had a daughter, Mercedes.

Affectionately, known as “Sharkman” to his friends, Tom was an avid outdoors man who loved shark fishing and deer hunting. He was a lifelong Bears fan and enjoyed visiting Maryland where he had previously lived for seven years.

Tom will be dearly missed by his mother, Toots; his three children, Courtney, Jacob, and Mercedes Mercier; granddaughter, Gabriella Mercier; sisters, Susan (Lenny) Nelson and Connie (Steven) Meier; his best friends, George and Jeff; as well as many loving nieces and nephews.

Tom was preceded in death by his father, Vernon; and a nephew, Ricky.
