Catherine Grace Schroeder, age 22 of Kenosha, passed away on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Hospice Alliance, Inc., Hospice House in Pleasant Prairie with her loving family at her side.                                .

Born in Kenosha on March 19, 1996, she was the daughter of Charles E. Schroeder, Jr. and Valerie L. (nee: McGruder) Schroeder.  She attended and served on student council at Wheatland Elementary School and was a 2014 graduate of Westosha Central High School.  Catherine was a contender for Central High’s Homecoming Queen.  She was thrilled to have been voted the first runner up.

Catherine’s greatest joy was the times she spent with her extended family.  She will be remembered for her smile and her attitude to make others feel happy.

She is survived by her parents, Charles and Valerie Schroeder; her sister, Cecelia (Tyler) Olsen; her brother, Magnus Charles Schroeder; her paternal grandparents, Charles “Chuck” and Mary Ann (Nee: McKenna) Schroeder; and her maternal grandparents, Wayne and Carmen (nee: Boucher) McGruder.
