Joan C. Lang, age 82 of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 14, 2019 at Froedtert South – Kenosha Hospital Campus.

Born in Kenosha on December 29, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Charlotte (Nordbye) Steinhoff.

On September 25, 1954 at St. Matthews Episcopal Church, she was united in marriage to John R. Lang.  After 50 years of marriage, John passed away on December 15, 2004.

For 45 years, Joan was a caring and compassionate certified nursing assistant with St. Catherine’s and Kenosha Memorial Hospitals.  She unselfishly gave of herself to all who needed her.

Joan was a wonderful baker creating treats which she loved to share with everyone.  She had a passion for reading, playing bingo, slots and taking the occasional trip to Las Vegas.

She is survived by her three children, David Lang, Debra (David) Crucianelli and Susan Lang; her grandchildren, Daniel (Aimee) Crucianelli and Ashley Crucianelli; and her siblings, James (Alberta) Steinhoff and Sandra (Donald) Kirschbaum.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Kertz.
